Darryl Martin
Maintenance Coordinator
My wife and I have been coming to the Outer Banks on and off for 20 years. We were able to buy a place that my father and mother-in-law owned back in 2008. For about 2 years we came to the Outer Banks with our children and did vacations. Then we decided to rent out our place and we used Jim Perry's Company as our property management. We had great success with Jim Perry and we have had great success with Colony Realty for the last 5 years. Then it became our time to make the Outer Banks our home in 2023. While in the middle of this transitions in our life I was offered a job with Colony Realty were I am now their Maintenance Coordinator.
Julia Head
I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Navarre, Ohio and attended college at The University of Akron, Akron Ohio. I started working in Public Relations/public speaking with a Land Developer for four years where I met my husband. We moved to Hatteras Island in August 1997 and started a real estate company in 1999.
Our focus was initially on sales and then started a long-term property management division in 2009. We purchased Colony Realty in 2015 and then Jim Perry and Company in 2018. We have managed approximately 200 long-term residential and commercial properties from Hatteras Village to Corolla. We have two daughters and their families and three grandchildren. I enjoy being outdoors, gardening and spending time with my family.
Jaime Pennington
I was born and raised in Pasadena, MD, a blue collar community between Baltimore and Annapolis. After many years of being a "Beltway Bandit" in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia area, I chose to trade in the fast paced lifestyle for a calmer and simpler life.
I moved to Hatteras Island in 2014 and never looked back. I now live in Kill Devil Hills with my two daughters where we enjoy beach days, local music, and exploring all the local cuisine. Particularly, some great burgers!
